Thank you for your interest in Dream Crafters Log Homes. In the mid seventies my wife Lynn, and I fell in love with log homes while I was attending College in Provo Utah. With warm memories of my experiences of our family log cabin in Oregon as a child, I made a promise to someday build a log home for my own family.Upon investigating many of the different manufactured log homes, I came to the realization that the only log home that would meet the needs and safety of my family would be a Scandinavian Full Scribe Log Home.Why? Because they are by far the most beautiful and energy efficient, not to mention they are the most structurally sound, log home you can live in. And above all else, they can be built to be resistant to hurricanes and tornadoes , upon request.Well as you know life can deal a far from straight road, but finally in the late nineties I attended Pat Wolf's School Of Log Building in Ontario Canada. I later established our family owned log building company, "Dream Crafters Log Builders", in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, situated eight miles southwest of the town of Ellijay, North Georgia.
